No one told me that
being a scholar
could mean
taking a thing you like
and assuming it is legitimate.

No one told me that
being an artist
could mean
taking a thing you fear
and lighting it on fire
in front of your friends.

No one told me that
being a writer
could mean
taking a thing you wonder
and magnifying it till it swallows you whole.
